If you’re looking for a fun yet challenging yoga class that will empower your mind and body, my Monday class is for you!

I will lead you through a variety of creative yoga sequences that will improve your core strength, flexibility, balance and posture.

At the end, I’ll guide you through a period of yogic breath-work, meditation and relaxation to help you release any stress and anxiety, and reconnect with your soul’s inner peace.

Whether you’ve never done yoga before or, or you have been practicing for many years, I will help and support you through every step of the way of your journey.

You’ll leave the class feeling uplifted, confident and ready to conquer your week with a positive mindset!

FAQ’s

What level are your classes? Can beginners join?

My Monday class is the best class to join if you are new to yoga, and my Thursday class is perfect for you if you’ve been practicing yoga for a while and are looking to challenge yourself further.

I give clear instructions of poses throughout the class and will adjust your poses to help you get the most out of them.

If you have any injuries / medical conditions please check with your GP that it’s safe for you to practice yoga before booking a class, and let me know about your condition. Please note that my classes are not suitable for pregnancy.

What style of yoga do you teach?

My teaching style is inspired by Vinyasa Yoga.

Each class includes a range of dynamic yoga sequences designed to build your strength, flexibility and balance, as well as powerful meditations and relaxation techniques to help you calm your mind.

What makes my classes unique is the depth of wisdom and yoga philosophy I share to help you to overcome life’s challenges with self-love, inner strength and positivity.

How long have you been teaching for?

I have been teaching yoga since 2014, and practicing regularly since 2010. My parents are also both full-time yoga teachers! You can check out their website here.

I’m not very flexible! Can I still do yoga?

Definitely! You don’t have to be able to touch your toes to start yoga, but it may be one of the benefits you experience with regular practice!

Your yoga practice will not only benefit your body - it will help your mind, heart and soul.

What age group are your classes for?

My classes are aimed at adults, but I have a few parents who come to my classes with their teenage sons or daughters!

Children above 12 years old are welcome to join with parental supervision provided they can practice yoga safely, follow instructions easily, and are non-disruptive throughout the class.

Can men attend your classes?

Absolutely! About one third of my students are men.

I want to try an in person yoga class but I’m nervous!

It’s normal to feel a little nervous before your first class (I know I was!), but I promise all my students are really friendly and will help you settle in easily.

I’ll check that you’re ok throughout the class and help you whenever you need. Please feel free to email me at info@yogawithsheena.com with any questions / concerns you have and I’ll be more than happy to speak with you.

What do I need to bring to the class?

All you need to bring with you is a yoga mat and a bottle of water. If you use a yoga block you can bring that along too if you wish.

If you need to buy your first yoga mat, I would recommend getting one with good grip that is 4-6 mm thick.

What should I wear to the class?

Please wear clothing you can move comfortably in (e.g. what you would wear to the gym).

Can I eat before the class?

Yoga is best done on an empty stomach so please do not eat anything heavy at least 90 minutes before the class. It’s fine to drink water before and during the class.

What time should I arrive to the class?

Please enter the hall no earlier than 10 minutes before the class,

If you arrive late to the class please wait at the entrance of the door (where I can see you) until I signal for you to enter.

Please settle in quietly to ensure you do not disturb other students who have begun their yoga practice.

What if I book a 10 class package and I can’t make a class?

The 10 class package is valid for 90 days so you have over 12 weeks use your classes from the date of purchase.

If you wish to cancel or reschedule a class that you are booked onto, you must do so via your online account at least 8 hours before the class start time. Any classes cancelled / rescheduled with less than 8 hours notice will still be deducted from your package.

What happens to my package when you are not teaching (e.g. during the Christmas or summer break)?

Your package will be frozen during the time that I am not teaching and will resume again when my classes restart. Your package expiry date will be extended accordingly.

Do you offer refunds?

All classes and yoga packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you have never done a class with me before, please book a trial class first to see if my classes are right for you before purchasing a 10 class package.
