A mix of poses and creative sequences to help improve your strength, flexibility & balance.

Whether you are a beginner or have been practicing yoga for many years, you will leave each class feeling calm, empowered and ready to conquer your week with a positive mindset.

With regular practice you will see your sleep and energy levels improve, you’ll be waking up with less aches and pains, and you’ll go about your day feeling much more grounded and centred within.

My classes are fun, challenging and inspiring.

No two classes are the same, and you’ll soon find yourself achieving things both on and off your yoga mat that you never thought you could do!

PRANAYAMA & MEDITATION

Life is fast-paced these days, and with so much going on in our lives and in the world…having the tools to release stress and anxiety are needed now more than ever.

Towards the end of each class, I will guide you through a meditation or pranayama (yogic breathing technique) combined with some powerful words of wisdom that will leave you feeling calm, steady and focused within.

You won’t just learn how to meditate and still your mind for a few minutes.

You will learn how to overcome challenges with calmness and confidence. And unlock a deep sense of peace & resilience that stays with you long after you go back home.

YOGA PHILOSOPHY

What makes my classes unique & one of the reasons why students tell me that they keep coming back is because of the depth of yoga philosophy & wisdom I incorporate into my classes.

As someone with a degree in Psychology, I’ve always been passionate about understanding how we can use the power of our mind to fulfil our potential and build a life that lights up every single day.

Through my classes, you won’t just learn how to hold a challenging pose or two once a week.

You’ll take the limits of who you think you are & see yourself become a winner in everything you do.

Many of my students have gone from being complete strangers to close friends who now go for walks together, come to my retreats together, and have even helped each other find jobs and grow their career.

It’s such a fun, positive & uplifting community where you can truly be yourself, make friends and meet people who you get on with like a house on fire.

If you’ve never been to my classes before, you can come and try a class for £12.

My classes are mixed ability and beginners are welcome, so don’t worry if you’ve not done a lot of yoga before, or you don’t think you’re very flexible.

Everyone in class is really friendly, and you will feel welcome right away.

I offer variations of poses so you can challenge yourself to the level you feel comfortable with - and I will come and adjust throughout the class to help you go deeper into your poses.

Once you’ve booked your space, I will send you a welcome email with details on what to bring to the class, how to find the hall & everything you need to make your first class an incredible experience from the moment you arrive.

FAQ’s

  • Absolutely! My Monday class is mixed ability - and beginners are welcome!

    As long as you’re generally fit and healthy, the class should be suitable for you.

    Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for many years, I offer clear instructions and variations for poses to help you get the most out of your practice.

    If you have any injuries or medical conditions, please check with your GP that it’s safe for you to practice yoga before booking a class, and let me know about your condition.

    Please note: My classes are not suitable for pregnancy, but drop me a message if you’re interested in 1:1 pregnancy yoga sessions.

  • My teaching style is a mixture of Hatha Yoga & Vinyasa Yoga.

    Each class includes a range of poses & sequences designed to build your strength, flexibility and balance, as well as powerful meditations and relaxation techniques to help you calm your mind.

    What makes my classes unique is the depth of wisdom and yoga philosophy I share to help you to overcome life’s challenges with self-love, inner strength and positivity.

  • 11 years. I have been teaching yoga since 2014, and practicing regularly since 2010.

  • Definitely! You’re flexibility (along with your strength, your balance & confidence) will continue to improve as you practice.

  • My classes are aimed at adults, but I have a few parents who attend with their teenage sons or daughters.

    Children over 12 years old are welcome to join with parental supervision, as long as they can practice yoga safely, follow instructions easily, and are non-disruptive throughout the class.

  • Absolutely! About one third of my students are men.

  • All you need to bring with you is a yoga mat and a bottle of water. If you have yoga blocks and a strap you can bring that along too if you wish.

    If you are looking to buy a yoga mat, I would recommend getting one with good grip that is 4-6 mm thick.

  • Anything comfortable in that you can move freely in (e.g. what you would wear to the gym).

  • Yoga is best done on an empty stomach, so please avoid eating anything heavy at least 90 minutes before class. It’s fine to drink water before and during the class.

  • Please enter the hall at 7.55 pm (5 minutes before the class starts).

    If you arrive late to the class and we are in the middle of a meditation, please wait at the entrance of the door (where I can see you) until I signal for you to enter.

    Please settle in quietly to avoid disturbing other students who have begun their yoga practice.

  • It’s normal to feel a little nervous before your first class (I know I was!), but all my students are really friendly and will help you settle in easily.
